It seemed awfully defensive, and wasn't so much about leadership as just the HP business itself. She clearly discusses the difficulties she faced because of her gender, and then tells the reader how she overcame those difficulties. Behind the carlyy, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard tells her own story, along with her unique perspective on leadership, technology, globalization, sexism, and many other issues. She was a philosophy major.

Perhaps, in this new era of always-on, always connected information, where fact, fiction and opinion seem to carry equal weight, that's no longer true.
